Are you ready to tackle your parenting questions once and for all?

My name is Dr. Sarah, and I’m a board-certified Pediatrician of mixed Dominican and Pakistani heritage. My goal is to empower parents in taking care of their children, whether sick or well, through easy-to-understand and accessible tips and tricks.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to sift through all of the information out there, and empathize with how much of it seems rigid, judgmental, and conflicting. My hope is to make the journey easier on you through a gentle approach, with lots of support and encouragement. You’ll find tons of articles and guides as well as a newborn course available for free on this website.

I help new and experienced parents feel confident in taking care of and advocating for their children.

What You’ll Find Here

01

Free Resources On The Blog

Whether it’s supportive care for winter viruses, eczema management, or constipation treatment, you’ll find guidance about how to approach the most common illnesses in children.

02

Free Newborn Course

Though having a baby should come with an instruction manual, it doesn’t! This is a wonderful resource to help with those common newborn concerns (like jaundice, chest/breast-feeding, diaper rashes, cord care, and safe sleep).

03

Free Downloads

I’ve created downloadable handbooks for more in-depth diagnoses (ADHD, asthma, and autism). They include everything you need to know from diagnosis to treatment, to help you feel empowered in understanding your child’s condition.

My Approach

Evidence-Based: All information on this website aims to be supported by research and align with current guidelines and recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Nonjudgmental: It’s hard enough being a parent without feeling guilty about your decisions. I recognize that there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach, that there’s a spectrum of parenting styles, and that we’re all learning.

Inclusive: I strive to recognize cultural influences in caregiving decisions, differing family structures, and variations in presentations for patients of different backgrounds.

 Free Asthma Handbook

Asthma is a really common childhood illness, and oftentimes Pediatricians aren’t given the time to do a deep dive in explaining what it is, how to identify triggers, how to treat it, and when it’s time for a medication change.

This free downloadable handbook is meant to offer a crash course into understanding asthma, and to help you gain greater knowledge of your child’s diagnosis.
